NICO Executive Secretary Visits North-East Zonal HQ

All is set for the official working visit of Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, to the North-East Zonal Headquarters of the Institute in Yola, capital city of Adamawa State.

The tour will be Dr. Ayakoroma’s first since his assumption of office as the Executive Secretary of the Institute.

A statement from office of the North-East Zonal Co-ordinator of NICO in Yola, Mallam Ismaila Ahmad, indicate that Dr.  Ayakoroma, who is expected in the State Capital for the flag-off of this year’s edition of the Institute’s Indigenous Language Training Programme (NILP), will pay a courtesy call on the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.

Other engagements, according to the statement, include a courtesy call on the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Tourism and Culture, Alhaji Musa Buba Kari Kamale, by the Executive Secretary, before being hosted by the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency, Murtala Nyako, at Government House, Yola.

The Executive Secretary will round up his day’s activities with a special appearance on NTA Yola. The North-East Zone comprise of Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe States, with Adamawa serving as Headquarters. While in Yola, the NICO boss will address zonal Staff on issues affecting them.

On the NICO CEO’s entourage to the Zonal headquarters will be top Management Staff, including Mr. Festus Ihenetu (Director, Research and Documentation), Hon. Nelson Ebi Campbell (Deputy Director/ SA to ES), Mr. Alex Omijie, Asst. Director (Protocol), Mr. Ebi Asene (PA tp ES), and key aids.
