The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Ayakoroma, has commended President Goodluck Jonathan, for nominating Dr. Chris Iyimoga as INEC Commissioner.
Dr. Iyimoga, a former Director of FCT Council for Arts & Culture, was recently nominated by President Jonathan as INEC commissioner representing North Central Zone.
Dr. Ayakoroma acknowledged the worthy contributions of Dr. Iyimoga in the culture sector, saying he is sure Dr. Iyimoga, whom he described as an ambassador of the culture sector, would do the sector proud in his new assignment.
Before now, Dr. Iyimoga was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Theatre & Cultural Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
Dr. Ayakoroma thanked President Goodluck Jonathan for the nomination, saying it is well thought out.
